After his oldest friend is killed riding home, a young mechanic salvages her wrecked motorcycle and rebuilds it — the only way he knows to say what he never told her.

Roman, a 22-year-old mechanic, meets his oldest friend Alex on a bench above the beach, the way they do most Saturdays. He offers to drive her home; she waves him off and rides away. That night he learns she has been killed on Empire Grade Road. Roman finds her wrecked motorcycle in a junkyard, brings it home and rebuilds it piece by piece — and finishing it means facing both her absence and everything he never managed to say.
